Every time my family visits the Vermont area, we make a point to attend Cavendish Baptist Church. The parishioners are so welcoming and friendly, and I can't say enough good about the pastor and his wife, whom we've known for almost 10 years. I don't know how he does it, but Pastor Abe's sermons are deeply academic and theological (but not overwhelming or boring), and are always applicable. And Amanda, his wife, is inspirational--I feel like I learn something new whenever I talk with her. They are the rare sort of family who live what they believe. We always leave the church better than when we entered.
